PROGRAM
PROGRAM
Our program is designed as a structured, step-by-
step journey that supports both men and women from their first moments of stabilization through long-term personal growth. Participants move through the LARC pathway in the following order:
1. SOS (Safe Off the Streets)
2. MT (Motivational Track)
3. Phase One
4. Phase Two
This comprehensive pathway meets people where they are and supports them as they move forward with confidence and purpose. Clients typically reside at LARC for six months to one year, engaging in a transformative journey towards recovery.
1
SOS (Safe Off the Streets)
During this initial phase, clients receive in depth orientation to the program and are introduced to the 12-steps of Alcoholics Anonymous and the Recovery Dynamics curriculum developed by the Kelly Foundation.
Clients have the opportunity to become acclimated to group living and the overall structure of the recovery program while attending educational classes and support group meetings with their peers.
2
MT (Motivational Track)
Following SOS, residents begin trudging (walking in groups with their peers daily) and attending Recovery Dynamics classes off site. Trudging builds a sense of camaraderie and residents begin to trust and lean on one another for support. Residents continue to live at the facility but spend the majority of the day off-site in educational classes and attending support group meetings.
3
Phase One
Clients enter Phase One after successfully completing MT. During this phase of the program, residents begin to work in-depth on the 12-steps of Alcoholics Anonymous and also begin to study and understand their addiction. Similar to MT, Phase One residents spend a great deal of time in Recovery Dynamics classes and support group meetings. These residents continue to live at the facility and receive the overall support of the staff.
4
Phase Two
In this transitional phase, clients are near completion of the LARC program and ready to begin the process of reentry into the community. LARC staff walk along side clients as they regain the foundational tools and resources that help them feel grounded, empowered, and ready to move forward into independent living.
